Discover a series of animated films we created for Van Cleef & Arpels, based on the original drawings by Julie Joseph, celebrating the opening of their new boutique on Madison Avenue in New York.
We conducted a first test of transcribing Julie's style in 3D, aiming to enhance movement in volume while preserving the essence of her illustrations. We replicated her texturing technique, kept some 2D background elements, and used effects to recreate her signature layering and collage style.
We worked hand in hand with the artist to create a 3D character that stays as true as possible to her artistic style.
